What is BHIM?

BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) is a UPI enabled initiative to facilitate safe, easy & instant digital payments through your mobile phone.

Requirements:

Before you register on the app, please ensure the following:

You have linked your Mobile Number with your Bank Account and the same is used for accessing BHIM.

Your phone should have an active SIM linked to your Bank Account.

In case of Dual SIM, kindly ensure that you’ve selected the SIM card linked to your Bank Account.

You have a valid Debit Card for your Bank Account. This is required to generate UPI PIN.

• Transaction limit is Rs. 1,00,000 per transaction and per day

Updated to latest version. Now if we try to scan, it shows portion of previous page, for a second, in the camera/scanning section. Also if we choose to scan without logging in, it prompts to scan again. This is a frequent issue. And it prompts for 'UPI Lite' every time we do transaction. This is a big nuisance. Instead give it in menu to enable or disable that feature. BHIM Dev/tech team should think practically from user angle. Also test it thoroughly before releasing updates. Thanks.

This app is very lazy and slow; sometimes it crashes. Very lazy interface. Many times, it shows payment pending and payment declined while I try to complete my transaction. I have good internet connectivity, but despite that, it sometimes takes some time to process the payment. Overall, there are lots of bugs. I am you requesting you to update the app and bring good services and interfaces.

I have been using this app for last one month. Day by day it is becoming slower. Many times payments get declined without a reason. Shopping takes 30 secs but payment takes 2 mins to complete. I have only one option of credit card. But it asks to choose an option and takes about 20-30 seconds for it. Speed has to be improved for the app's success. Other features are good.
