Stage Purification Technology
Water in the Tata Swach water purifier is subjected to 4 stages of purification. A sediment filter in the first stage removes coarse impurities in the inlet water such as dust that is over 10 microns in size. The second stage features a Granular Activated Carbon filter impregnated with silver that has an anti-bacterial effect along with scrubbing odour, and foul taste caused by Chlorine and other organic compounds. An Ultraviolet lamp in the third stage destroys all surviving bacteria, viruses and cysts. The final stages use an Ultrafiltration membrane that strains the dead microbes before sending out purified water.

Storage Capacity
The concealed storage tank of the purifier can store 6 litres of water at a time with the tank constantly getting refilled as the water is drained out.
